2017 Nissan Leaf is the latest offering in electric car segment from Nissan. It has been given a more attractive and conventional styling for making it more appealing in the market ruled by gasoline and diesel based vehicles.
Exterior / Interior of 2017 Nissan Leaf
With this model, the company has tried to debunk the myth that an electric car has to have a different appearance than the gasoline or diesel-run vehicles. Extensive redesigning is noticed. This machine is not weird and unattractive at all. Instead, it has all the conservative designs and lines that usually grace the gas-run cars. Shaped like a sedan, the blacked out pillars, attractive angular lights and a huge V on the grille and of course the creased bodywork are unmistakable characteristics. In short, the exterior is well-structured to give a tough competition to its rival Tesla.
The redesigning of interior is also noteworthy. It is aimed at providing more comfort for long distances. Stylish trims and great show of technological worthiness are chief points here. Navigation and entertainment have also been taken into account as is normally expected from the company. Earlier, the car was supposed to be a city car only. However, the engineers have finally created a model that is complete with equipment and facilities for long distance traveling. A lot of space inside is meant to provide the passengers with ultimate satisfaction. Soft touch luxurious material has been used to render great aesthetics.
Engine and Mileage of 2017 Nissan Leaf
The vehicle is expected to be power-packed. It will run on an all-electric mode engine having a battery pack of 24 kWh. Being manufactured on a modified platform, the machine is estimated to give greater output and longer mileage than the present range’s 84 miles. The company is calling it a ‘game-changing technology’. The focus is more on power conservation for giving better mile range that is actually around 100 miles. With this stronger battery pack, Nissan is entering the hydrogen car market with a bang.
Price and Release Date
The electric car will be priced around $29,000. It will be available in the US markets sometime in late 2016.
As opposed to the general idea about electric vehicles, this new electric car from Nissan is very stylish, sedan-shaped, comfortable vehicle. Interior is much more spacious and the seating is highly comfortable. The 24 kWh battery power is aimed at reaching 100 miles conveniently. 2017 Nissan Leaf is ready to redefine the way hydrogen cars are viewed.
